Ontario 10 Inch Field Knife (410-10)
The Ontario Field Knife has a long, 10" high carbon steel blade designed for multi-tasking in the field. This Field Knife is full tang construction for added strength and stability in industrial and agricultural applications. The handle on the field knife is hardwood and measures 4 3/4" long.
The Ontario Field Knife is made in the USA.

Great Kitchen or field Knife

Even though it states the size on the site and in the name my wife and I were impressed when I pulled the 10" high carbon steel blade from the box. It's like having a mini machete. The handle is light and the weight is in the blade as it should be. The blade came dull but I took a Victorinox sharpener to it for only a few passes and now you can shave with it.
My wife loves this knife... from vegetables, meat to fish it handles it all. Because of the size, it makes a great BBQ knife or camping tool as well.
