I was familiar with this bayonet prior to ordering it, so there was nothing new when i received it. It's an excellent bayonet and, unlike some other types of bayonet, this tool doubles as a good knife. The factory edge was usable for sure but I easily cleaned it up to a sharper edge for my own preference. If you want a survival knife, there are probably better knives available but for the cost, this bayonet is a fine knife. The sheath is great, having both Molle attachments and a belt loop with leg strap loop. The bayonet is held tightly and silently in the sheath while still being easy to draw. In short, this bayonet isn't a bad buy. It's strong, durable, and multipurpose.

Nice piece. Heavy duty and sharp. An updated K-Bar that can be used as a bayonet. A well built no nonsense battle tool. Careful when fixed as a bayonet. It would be very unforgiving in an accident.

I originally bought this as a graduation present for my son after Marine Combat Training School and have sent it to be engraved. I am thoroughly pleased with the appearance and performance of this bayonet/knife! I would like to thank you for an outstanding product and Semper Fi!

This OKC3S is my best tool for any job. Type 1 diabetes wont let me fight with our US Marines even though I tried to get in but I love them all like the good side of my family. This blade has done everything I've asked of it so far. I don't leave home without it. 16.3 trillion thank you's to all military service members past, present and future. Hey obuma, your wind power subsidies and loopholes now kill American Bald Eagles and hundreds of other species of birds. I would be arrested, obuma gets reelected. Wake up Americans

This is a quality bayonet. Shipping was slowed by a run on the product after the third 2012 presidential debate. It came as advertised. It will not fit completely on my Mossberg 590A1, as it is about 1/4 inch too long from pommel to the muzzle ring. No worries, I will make it work for my next AR build.

The OKC3S U.S. Marine Corp. bayonet is a nice piece of work. It's exceptionally sharp, well
balanced, has a healthy heft to it, is made of
solid materials and is handsome to boot. The scabbard is a rigid material, sunstantial and won't let you cut yourself when removing or inserting the bayonet. This is a HIGH-QUALITY

I have not stuck anybody with it.....yet. When I do I'll let you know how that goes. The bayonet feels great to hold in your hand even if the handle is wet or gets some other slippery agent on it you still can have a tight grip on the bayonet. When it is mounted on your weapon it feels like a great extension of yourself. It is very intimidating looking. If you are properly trained on the use of a bayonet you can't lose because your adversary begins to stop thinking of the fight and starts focusing on how to escape that large blade. Over all it's a great weapon!
