I was impressed by the JPT 3 Utilitac II Knife. For the price, it seems to be an exceptionally well designed and well made knife. The JPT 3 Knife is a good well rounded size (a medium sized knife) and offers solid cutting and slicing performance. A thumbstud offers one hand opening and a reversible pocket clip lets you deploy the knife ambidextrously. The liner lock is strong and has just the right amount of tension. A lanyard hole at the butt of the knife comes with a sturdy cord. The only things I didn't really care for on the JPT 3 were the EDP Coating on the knife blade (was a bit shiny and slick for my taste) and the weight. It's a bit on the heavy side at close to a half a pound, but some people like a heavier knife. Overall, I think the JPT 3 is a solid choice for an edc pocket knife.
