The Ontario 3 1/4" Shoe Knife is an all purpose knife for the tradesman or craftsman. This Shoe Knife works wonderfully as a a leather tool. The Ontario Shoe Knife features a high carbon steel blade with a hardwood handle and a brush finish. The blade on the shoe knife is an adequate 3 1/8" long and the shoe knife handle is 3 3/4" long.

The Ontario Shoe Knife is made in the USA.

Work With Your Hands? You'll Love This Classic!

This "old school" classic is a no brainer. If you work with your hands, if you do you're own repairs or if you're into bushcraft you'll love this little classic. Nice size high carbon steel blade takes a great edge that can cut leather, wood, thin plastics. After use, run it up & down a sharping steel to bring the edge right back for the next use.
My only complaint is the wood handle is very smooth and could slip if you're hands are wet. You can easily fix this by cutting grooves into the handle for traction or use "Skateboard" tape around the handle. This is the only reason I gave it 4*s.
